Lukacovce Castle

Undoubtedly the greatest interest Lukacovce is a cultural historical monument, which is a medieval castle from the 15th century. The dominant feature of the village is on the list of cultural monuments in Slovakia and is therefore a protected monument. This is an important, impressive, fortified compound. According to local tradition was established Crusader castle of Templar Knights. Even senior author of a history of the village described the mansion as their monastery. If that were the case, it would become one the oldest mansion of castle architecture of Slovakia.
