River Tsitsa headwaters

This natural monument is located in the southwestern part of Adygea. Its territory is the northern boundary of the Tertiary flora - Colchis boxwood, yew.

In the upper reaches of the ancient species of flora found - hooked pine, rhododendron ponticum, butcher Colchis preserved areas with primary herbaceous vegetation. This is practically the only place where they grow on the planet.

Tract Tsitsa - one of the few lands Adygea, where there are Caucasian chamois, bear, deer. At an altitude of over 1,800 meters above sea level, there are pine forests turning into alpine meadows.
